Ships usually spend about 8½ hours docked in Roatán. That leaves roughly 6¾ hours for your private day.
Carnival, Princess and Holland America ships dock at Isla Tropicale (formerly Mahogany Bay). Royal Caribbean, Norwegian, MSC, Celebrity, Virgin Voyages, Margaritaville at Sea, Regent, Oceania and Crystal ships dock at Port of Roatán (Coxen Hole). Your reservation shows your port and the exact steps.
Can't manage the hill? A taxi is $2 per person; tell the driver your private driver is waiting at the gate.
Before you sail: your driver's name and phone number are on your reservation, sent to you before you sail, so you can reach them if you need to. Only go with the person holding a sign with your name.

Yes. Choose Build your own day: pick from our list, or tell us about something you've seen or heard about, and we'll plan it and time it to your port window. You get a custom quote the same day, and nothing is due until you approve.
Pick from our list of 19 activities, like sloths and monkeys, a dolphin encounter, a zip line, snorkeling, a catamaran, fishing, the chocolate factory and West Bay Beach, or tell us about something else you've heard about, and we'll make it happen. We work out the route and timing so you're back at the port an hour or more before all-aboard.
Yes. The Freestyle Day is a private vehicle and your own driver with no fixed itinerary, for as long as you like within your port window. Food, drinks and any entry fees are paid on the spot, and they're yours to choose.
